Life is Sweet

Mike took a look at my mistake and suggested that, instead of stressing over having done it incorrectly, I simply install the stairs 'backward.' So they face the front of the house. Dry fitting them this way, they still fit nicely and now there's the advantage of having an accessible cubby under the stairs for more viewable stuff. It means painting the backside of the stairs, but that's a small price to pay.

There are ways to remove the floor. Both Judy from the dollhouse store, and Jennifer, from the manufacturer, suggested ways to do this, so my mistake isn't insurmountable, even without Mike's lemonade solution, but I prefer going forward to stepping back, so I'll do it his way.

Storms a'coming, so probably no more forward motion today. Looks like plenty of inside time will be available this weekend. Besides, Mike's home for this one, so it's unlikely that we'll lose power due to downed trees. That never happens when he's handy.
